For Mentors
Career planning is an ongoing process through which young people can have more understanding about their own interests, personalities, families, schools, the community and the world so as to choose their own career and lifestyle. Accordingly, Careers Office is now organizing a Mentoring Scheme.
We would like to invite our old boys to be the mentors of our G11 students. During the year, each mentor is meant to be the careers-advisor of 4 to 5 current G11 boys. The mentors may only need to contact their mentees by email or meet them once to twice a year to give advice for their careers planning. For example, the mentor can give advice and share his own experience on his careers choices, university subject selections, and allow the students to have a one-day or half-day attachment to his office, etc.
If you are interested in helping out the new scheme, please download and fill in the form below and email to dbscareers@gmail.com. For any further enquiries, please feel free to email us or contact Mrs. Jenny Tso on 2768 5611.
