Demonstrating their abilities and musicality to 7 internationally renowned jurors, the Choir was awarded a high score of 91.88 points, bringing home a gold medal and capturing the title of World Champion of Category W3: Young Male Choirs. In the first part of the World Choir Games 2008, our Senior Choir became the sole Chinese Champion among all other categories, with the flag of the People&rsquo;s Republic of China hoisted to celebrate the glory.</p> <p>Moreover, the Diocesan Schools Choral Society, comprising 29 singers from Diocesan Boys' School and Diocesan Girls&rsquo; School, participated in Category W17: Musica Sacra &ndash; Open Category, and was awarded the gold medal with 88.38 points&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;the second highest score in the category, triumphing over the remaining 17 choral finalists.</p> <p>Congratulations to all Diocesan choristers who have made this possible. Special thanks must be given to the teachers-in-charge Mr. R. Cheng and Mr. F. Shuen for their hard work and unfailing encouragement.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center"></p> <p>The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Bauhinia Bowl Award 2007 - 2008 Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at Pui Ching Middle School on 25 June 2008. As various sports teams triumphed in their respective events and competitions, we recaptured the Champion title of the Bauhinia Bowl Award with 341 points after standing as runners-up for 7 years. The GDOP is a Christian gathering in Hong Kong, the purpose of which is to promote unity among all the Christian churches, schools, marketplace, and different sectors. The mission of GDOP is to call Christians from all nations to unite in repentance and prayer, and to work as God&rsquo;s servants for the blessing and healing of Hong Kong. This year&rsquo;s GDOP will be held on 11th May 2008 (Pentecost Sunday) at the Hong Kong Stadium. Admission will start at 1:00pm and the official meeting will commence at 3:00pm.
